I don't know the fandom, but I am curious and I don't mind spoilers. If you're up to talking with someone who doesn't know anything about it, I am game.

I was hoping more people would talk about it over at steven_universe_universe, but most of the discussion I'm getting is at fail_fandomanon.

"The habits of privilege" is a heck of a theme here. So much of Rose's behavior makes perfect sense given the worldview she was literally created with -- and can't completely shake, even though she spends millennia trying to work against it.
