Adaptations and a breath of fresh air

So Banana Fish was a manga back in the late 80s/90s that has just this year been adapted into an anime and is airing. I haven't yet read the manga, hope to sometime soon, but am enjoying the anime all the same.

They have set it modern times (smart phones! makes it easier for visiting Eiji to get about LA) but also kept a bit of that 80s/90s aesthetic and fashion, changed the war that haunts some of the characters from being Vietnam to Iraq and it's working (says someone who hasn't read it but w/e).

So, things going smoothly, what media piece would you love to see adapted into another form (comic/tv/movie/etc)? and why?

I would love to see a decent adaptation of an Arthurian story for either the big screen or small. Maybe something like Firelord or Sword at Sunset.
