Who are the fanpeeps you talk with?
Do you have a large circle to talk fan stuff with? A small circle? Do you have one-off chats with other fans randomly, with little engagement thereafter? Do you stick to specific fandom stuff, or talk about fandom trends more widely?

I mainly RT on Twitter, a mix of fandom and politics stuff, so I don't really get into conversations

I have poked into various other fandom spaces in the past few years (tumblr, reddit, various Discord servers) but haven't found anywhere as welcoming and Old Comfy Shoe as some of the places I hung out in the Ye Olde Days.

Chatting about fandom more widely can be very interesting, esp with fans that are older than me and have a diff experience

I make fannish posts on DW and Twitter, but they don't lead to a whole lot of conversation. Same with art posts on DA and Tumblr.

I wonder is fandom more hesitant about engaging with strangers in the more open platforms than the more secret ones of LJ years ago, or if we're all more aware of lurkers not engaging now...

I do think it's unfortunate that current major platforms are so poorly designed for ongoing conversations.

And what I may look to discuss can be both fandom-specific and fannishly general.
